1. While every attempt is made to safe/save the information on the customer’s device, it may be lost in      the repair process. It is thus advisable to back up all information prior to sending it in for repairs as iPhix Solutions will not be held liable for any loss of information or media.
  2. All accessories are not to be booked in except for accessories needed for testing. Charger, earpiece etc.
  3. Depending on the nature of the repair, a turn around time between 7-14 working days will apply to       all repairs, if additional parts or spares are needed for the repair process could take up to 21 working days to complete.
  4. Incomplete details on this repair form could result in the request being declined and might cause unnecessary delays for with iPhix Solutions will not be held liable for.
  5. If you are bringing in an apple device, kindly ensure that the device is removed from the ‘find my iphone’ or ‘find my Mac’ as this delays the repair process. If you are unsure of the deactivation process, kindly ask for assistance and to supply you with the process details.
  6. An assessment fee on all water damage and mainboard components failure of R999.99 will be charged upon book-in. (Non-refundable)
  7. Macbooks and iMacs have an assessment fee of R499.99 (non-refundable)
  8. All previously attempted repairs (not by iPhix Solutions) as well as liquid damage that has not been mentioned upon book-in has a fee of R999.99 as your device could have severe damage and missing components from previous repair attempt.
  9. Devices that are not repairable or no repairs due to previous attempts has a fee of  R299.99 thus resulting that the device will not be returned to the client until payment has been made.
  10. No device will be released until full payment has been made, if device is not collected within 90 days it will be sold to defray costs.
  11. All clients are responsible for their own courier service and iPhix Solutions will not be held liable for any loss or theft while in transit.

The following is covered under warranty

Please note this is provided  if there is no physical damage to any of the below:
  • Software:Related to manufacturing fault ( device works incorrectly after software update).
  • Audio Malfunctions:  Reworking/ replacement of any audio part of component ( e.g speakers, mic, IC, diaghragms, gaskets, flex etc)
  • Keypad malfunctions: Reworking/ replacement of any keypad functionality component( e.g filter,dome shgeets, connectors, flex etc)
  • Charging Malfunctions: Reworking/replacement of any parts of the charging unit (eg diodes, IC,DC jack, pins etc)
  • Camera Malfunction: Reworking/replacement of camera or related components (eg flash lights, IC, connectors, flex etc)
  • Volume control malfunctions: Reworking/replacement of any volume control parts or components (eg volume buttons, tact switches, flex, conductors etc)
  • Power on/off malfunction: Reworking/replacemtn of any power related parts or components (eg tact switches, battery contacts, CD filters. PA, flash etc)

The following is not covered by warranty

  • Liquid damage/ physical damage ( cracked/broken screen, damaged charging port, dropped device etc)
  • Power surge (due to a power cut and the power coming back on)
  • Blacklisting
  • Security Code
  • Any damage as a result of previous repair before an authorized repair centre was appointed
  • Factory reset done by client ( as there is a chance this could be done incorrectly. Note: If iPhix Solutions needs to do a factory reset on the unit in order to clear passwords, there will be a handling fee charged)

Repair Procedure:

  • Kindly note that a full test will be done before any repair attempts
  • Kindly note that a full assessment and troubleshooting/faults will be done regarding fault given.
  • If any other faults are found, customer will be contacted and be informed about other faults and will be requited
  • Repair will not be done except client has accepted the quote.
  • The repair process takes between 7-14 working days, depending on the nature of the repair, but could take up to 30 working days if additional parts or spares are needed for the repair
  • Once repaired, the device will be tested by iPhix Solutions, should the client request this to be done. Upon completion of testing, the unit will be given to client, ofcourse after payment.
